entered the service of British Government as Chief Clerk to the Colonial Treasury at Houghtong where he continued to perform the duties of the office till the 27th February 1850 when he received
leave of absence on sucdical Certificate that his health had suffered in
consequence of the incalubrity of

Climate..
That Memorialist
requests
that
be

the circumstances detailed
taken into consideration with the view
If allowing him another appointment similar to that he now holds in an
